Design against fur.
An experiment into what clothing could look like if we did not use fur. The exotic and sought after material of crocodile skin can be concieved utilising plant- and mineral-based materials alone.
emblamar studio: seaweed.
In collaboration with Icelandic artist Katrín Thorvaldsdottir, this collaborative project saw designers explore foraged then preserved seaweed to create high fashion garments.

A harvest of discarded festival tents led to a playtime of zero waste pattern cutting. Minimise the construction method, utilise what already exists and you can create clothing for nothing.

MA Fashion and the Environment collection: an exploration into the reason why we are drawn to particular materials, preservation of local landscapes, experiment with raw honest construction methods and the salvage of deadstock materials. The linen dress (fourth image) is now in the compost.
