Connect with the act of making while in an outdoor urban green space in this hour-long drop-in textile nature connection workshop.
This one-hour drop-in guided workshop will give you an introduction to a variety of textile techniques while giving you the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor urban space with a diversity of folk.

Time: 1 hour session
Cost: Pay as you feel (suggested donation £5)
Dates: Once a month on a Wednesday morning - with an extra Monday or Friday evening in June and July.
Select from: mornings 10am-11am on 17th May, 14th June, 14th July, 9th August and 13th September. Or evenings 6.30pm-7.30pm on 23rd June and 17th July. *additional evening drop-in sessions will take place in an alternative venue.

There will be a guided activity for each hour-long session, but feel free to bring along something you're in the process of working on, or would like support and/or accountability with.
Possible activities are:⇾ Nature weaving
⇾ Hapa zome leaf printing
⇾ Basic embroidery
⇾ Mending and darning -
⇾ Guidance on the particular textile activity of the session you booked for
⇾ Certain materials and access to tools (this is where a donation helps!)
⇾ Access to a permaculture kitchen garden in North East London

This is a drop-in session only with minimal guidance.
There will be a guided textile nature connection activity with certain materials and equipment supplied. Please bring along any project you're working on for support and guidance from myself and the rest of the group.
